How many episodes are there in Catching Killers season 3?

True crime enthusiasts, I’m sure you were glad to see a brand new season of Catching Killers drop on Netflix on June 23. Catching Killers season 3 features more infamous serial killer cases, but instead of there being only three cases explored throughout the season, there are four cases told from the investigators’ perspectives.

Catching Killers is a true crime docuseries detailing some of the most horrific serial killer cases. Viewers watch and listen as police and prosecutors explain how they eventually captured some of the world’s most violent killers. Many of the investigators also explain how the hunt affected their personal lives.

In Catching Killers season 3, we learn about “The Railroad Killer,” “The New York Zodiac Killer,” “The Olympic Park Bomber,” and “The D.C. Sniper.” But how many episodes does it take to explore all of these cases? Find out below.

Like previous seasons, Catching Killers season 3 is made up of four episodes. However, each episode is in the 40-minute range, unlike the second season which consisted of episodes in the 30-minute range, and the first season which was a mix of 30 and 40-minute episodes.

Here are the titles and runtimes for each episode of the third season:

The combined runtimes add up to a total of 181 minutes, which means the third season is 3 hours and 1 minute long. Overall, it’s a pretty short season, and you can definitely watch it in one sitting if you wanted to.

Like Catching Killers seasons 1 and 2, the third season is rated TV-MA. But this shouldn’t be surprising, given what the show is about. It was given this age rating for strong language, sexual violence references, and smoking. Overall, it’s meant to be watched by mature, adult audiences only.
