It appears that the love story of our generation (I’m kidding there) may be adding a new chapter. Are singers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez giving romance another go? Some recent developments have caused fans of Jelena to get their hopes up a little bit. On Wednesday, Selena was spotted by fans at Justin’s concert in Los Angeles. After the show, the pair chatted backstage.
A few days prior to the LA meetup, Justin used his Instagram account to take a walk down memory lane. He posted a pic where’s he’s smooching Selena on the beach and added the slightly enigmatic caption, “Feels.” Selena “liked” the pic and added the comment “Perfect.” Ah, love in the age of social media.

This isn’t the first time these two have been seen out together since their roller coaster romance ended. Back in November, they were seen dancing together at the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills. It’s also not the first time Justin posted a #tbt picture of Selena Instagram. Back in December, he posted a pic riding an ATV with Selena. Even if they were trying to get back together, Justin’s tour is going on for a few more months and Selena is going on tour in May, so they don’t have much time. Although E! News reports that the couple have been “talking” about reconciling after their respective tours were done. Could this have been part of their backstage banter? Hmmm…
It’s also worth noting that some of Justin’s other rumored romantic interests, Hailey Baldwin and Kourtney Kardashian, have also been seen at Justin’s concerts. And, if Selena’s recent interview with W Magazine is any indication, she sounds a bit over it all. When asked about whether or not she thought Justin’s Purpose album was a plea of forgiveness from her ex, she replied, “I’m so exhausted. I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can’t do it anymore.” Justin had admitted previously that a few of the songs on the album, including the hit “Sorry” were about her. He may have written some songs for her, but Justin recently told GQ that Hailey was “someone I really love.” Now is that “love” or “love love”?
I honestly don’t think they’re getting back together. They spent a lot of time together and went through a lot of ups and downs, so of course they still care about each other, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are (or should be) getting back together. Come on, don’t we all have an ex or two that makes a better friend than a boyfriend? I know I do.
