Those of you who watch Real Housewives of Beverly Hills might remember when Kelsey Grammer’s insufferable now-estranged wife, Camille, was bitching about the fact that Grammer’s apartment in New York City was too small with three bedrooms and over 3,000 square feet. My family’s home when I was growing up was 3,200 square feet and felt huge to me. I’ve been a city apartment dweller ever since and would be thrilled with 1,500 square feet. In New York City, 3,000 square feet is amazing.
Anyway, in what could be perceived as an affront to Camille, Kelsey has moved into an even bigger $6.5 million, four-bedroom apartment in New York with his new fiance. His 29 year-old flight attendant fiance probably doesn’t care whether they have three or four bedrooms, but it’s obviously a big deal to money and property-hungry Camille. Camille bragged on the show about the many homes that she and Kelsey owned around the world. (I can’t remember or google the exact number, but I think it was around 7.) What’s more is that Kelsey is said to have told everyone involved in the purchase of his new apartment not to let the news leak to Camille. She knows now. Here’s more:
More bad news for Camille Grammer. Not only did her husband knock up his girlfriend within weeks of their separation but the NY Post is now reporting that Kelsey Grammer recently purchased a $6.5 million NYC apartment for he and his much younger girlfriend, all while trying to keep it a secret from Camille.
Several sources told The Post that Kelsey, 55, who’s in the midst of divorce proceedings with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, was “adamant” that the real estate purchase be kept a secret. Everyone involved in the dealings reportedly had to sign top-secret confidentiality agreements to keep Camille from finding out.
The new crib is described as being very spacious and big enough for when his kids come to visit. Kelsey’s girlfriend is Kayte Walsh… [a] British flight attendant… Camille is Kelsey’s 3rd wife and mother to two of his four children. She has previously stated that she feels “very bitter,” and “humiliated,” over Kelsey’s decision to dump her because of Kayte.

This divorce is going to get nasty. The circumstances of Kelsey and Camille’s breakup initially made me feel for Camille – until I got to know her through the show. No one deserves to be cheated on, but after watching RHOBH you wonder why Kelsey put up with Camille as long as he did. I’m sure he’s no prize either, but she’s constantly picking fights with other women and then calling them “jealous” when they fight back. Camille is surrounded by staff and paid companions who agree with everything she says. She seems to be carrying on an affair, or at least an outrageously flirty “friendship,” with one of Kelsey’s also-married male “friends” who is always hanging around. Meanwhile Kelsey took up with a younger less demanding woman. You can almost understand his motivation, even if he went about it in a cruel and deceptive way.
You know I missed RHOBH this week, it was on hiatus for Thanksgiving, and can’t wait to see what’s next.
