These are photos from Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s wedding on Saturday. She and Jionni LaValle married on Saturday, and you can see her dress on Facebook and Instagram. She usually gives exclusives to Us Weekly (and sometimes People), so there may be a cover story. I’m including our agencies’ pictures from outside the Great Gatsby-inspired ceremony. J-Woww was a bridesmaid, and her dress was surprisingly tasteful.
I never thought these two crazy kids would make it down the aisle. They finally married after a nearly 3-year engagement, 2 babies, and a combined 5 years of dating. These two first hooked up during Jersey Shore, and it didn’t seem like a lasting union. Snooki flashed her bits in an Italian nightclub and Jionni fled Europe. They got it together, mostly. Are they still living in his parents’ basement? I don’t know.
Snooki’s still a mess, and she slips up a lot. She had the sense to evict herself from the Shore house during her first pregnancy. She wanted to revamp herself as the next Kourtney Kardashian and a super fit mom, but I still suspect disordered eating is at the root of her fitness. Jionni almost called off the engagement after a wild girls’ night out where Snooki made out with Ryder. I have so much shame for watching those shows.
Anyway. There was a wedding! Us Weekly has the details:
The proud parents to Lorenzo, 2, and Giovanna Marie, 3 months, celebrated their love with a Great Gastby-themed wedding, complete with a cigar and scotch bar.
Polizzi, 26, donned two dresses from Bridal Reflections for the big day: an off-white, traditional lace gown for the ceremony and a more “fun and Gatsby-themed” dress for the reception, the bride previously shared with Us. (An hour before the ceremony, she showed off her gown on her official website.)
Her bridesmaids, including BFF Jenni “JWoww” Farley, wore black gowns with bows on them. After the couple exchanged vows, the bridal party and family and friends danced to eighteen-piece band Time Machine.
Leading up to her big day, the former party girl kept cool.
“It’s not that hard to plan a wedding,” Polizzi told Us of her black and gold-colored fete. “For me, it’s just that I don’t let myself get stressed out. I just enjoy the moment and I try to be positive about everything.”
Polizzi and LaValle, 27, got engaged in March 2012 after dating for over a year. At the time, the reality star told Us: “I have different priorities now. I don’t care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I’m ready and he’s ready.”

Some more details: Most of the Shore cast attended. J-Woww, Sammi Sweetheart, and Dina Cortese were all bridemaids (along with 12 other girls). Pauly D and his blowout were there. Vinnie and The Situation were not invited (because Snooki slept with both of them). The reception included cigars and a scotch bar as part of the theme. I question whether Snooki has even read The Great Gatsby or could explain the signficance of Dr. T.J. Eckleburg’s glasses. She probably just liked the fashion. Congrats to the meatballs!
